Our Call to Missions

We are Thiago and Danielle, together with our three children, Alana, Theo, and Niko. Our passion is to see the Body of Christ working together to fulfill the Great Commission. We seek to train and encourage Christians to know Him more, share the Good News, engage in God’s mission, and live impactful lives for the Kingdom of God.

Thiago...

Thiago, originally from Brazil, was studying philosophy in college and working at a University with plans of becoming a Philosophy Teacher when God shifted his direction toward full-time missions. At the age of 15 he had received a prophetic word that he would be sent to different places to share the good news, and in 2011 he stepped into that call by joining YWAM for his Discipleship Training School. He has been faithfully serving full-time, training people in evangelism, participating in cultural outreaches, serving the poor, and traveling throughout Brazil, Paraguay, Mozambique, the United States, and other countries to represent Jesus, train missionaries, and be a witness of the Good News of the Kingdom of God.

... Danielle

Danielle, from Oregon, once dreamed of becoming a nurse in the U.S. Army or serving as a missionary in China, but God led her in a different direction. In 2014, she and her family went to Brazil for their DTS, where her parents and siblings spent five years serving. Danielle remained in Brazil for nearly a decade, learning the language and culture and discovering her passion for serving the Deaf community around the world and making Jesus known among them. She also worked in construction at the YWAM base in Brazil, served in evangelism training and outreaches, and worked with the Ropes Course, a leadership and team-building ministry.

We got married in 2016...

Curiosity… from the day we started dating to the day we got married, it was only 10 months!!! After that began an amazing journey of partnership and a new chapter of serving Jesus as a family. Since 2016, we have been serving full-time in ministry as a family of missionaries.

Guided by faith, family, and relationships, we love sharing the good news through everyday life, street evangelism, and intentional discipleship. Our vision is to equip, encourage, and prepare missionaries to thrive long-term among unreached people groups, multiplying workers until all have the chance to hear and respond to the hope of Jesus.

God Began Growing Our Family in 2019… and Added Two More in 2024.

Alana was born in 2020, just before the challenges of COVID-19, in Corvallis, Oregon. She is full of joy and is a very smart kid. She is 6 years old and is homeschooled. She already speaks fluent Portuguese and English, is learning American Sign Language, and loves being around other people.

Then, in 2024, God blessed us in an incredibly special way by bringing Theo and Niko into our family through adoption. Their story is a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness and the unexpected ways He builds a family. Welcoming them into our home and becoming their parents has been one of the greatest adventures of our lives, and Alana absolutely loves being the big sister!

We feel so deeply connected to them, and even their appearance seems to fit our family in the most amazing way. People often say to Thiago, “Hey, Theo really looks like you!” and we hear the same about Niko and Danielle. It always makes us smile and reminds us that family is about so much more than biology—it is built through love, belonging, and God’s purpose.

in 2025 we moved to Philly...

In 2025, following the Lord’s leadership, we moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where we are praying and working toward establishing a YWAM location (or YWAM base) to bless the city, raise up and equip missionaries, and send teams to the nations. Our heart beats for the unreached—whether through reaching the poor, engaging in creative evangelism, starting Bible study groups among new believers, serving the Deaf community, or focusing on the Muslim world. We believe Philadelphia can be a place where people encounter Jesus, are discipled, equipped, and sent to the nations.

And yes… this is where you find the real Philly cheesesteak!
